Please note that only some of our accommodation is offered for on-line booking, so even if you cannot book on-line please do place an enquiry by e-mail or telephone.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservation and Payment:

We require a valid credit card number, expiry date and security number from the reverse of the card to secure your booking. We also require your full address and telephone number. Unless we receive this information within 24 hours of the booking, we will be unable to hold the room for you.

We will check your card details, but only use them in the case of a no show or cancellation without due notice.

Cancellation Policy:

Your reservation is made with Martin & Jen Stone trading as the Allt Gynack Guest House and represents a legally binding contract between you and the guest house. For cancellation of bookings a minimum of 7 days notice is required. At the sole discretion of the proprietors, the charge MAY be waived in part if we are able to re-let the cancelled room(s) in part, and WILL be waived in full if the total value of the booking can be replaced in full. If no cancellation is received the full amount per person, per room, will be charged. We reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales, as detailed above. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges to the card without any additional consent being required.

We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to the guest house, or the fabric of the guest house itself, damaged either wilfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. In this event the credit card, of the person who made the reservation, will charged without prior consent being required against the costs incurred.

Security:

Once you have left the Guest House and your Room has been serviced ready for the next guest your card details will be shredded.

Non Smoking Policy:

All bedrooms are non-smoking. Any bedrooms suffering from residual tobacco odours will be specially cleaned and aired over a 24-hour period and all charges resulting from this, both actual and loss of business (at prevailing B&B rates) will be charged to the credit card given to secure the booking.

Arrivals and Departures:

Usual arrival time for Guests at Guest Houses is between 4pm and 9pm. We will endeavour to ensure one of us is on duty during those hours. If you wish to arrive outwith these hours, please let us know in advance, and we will try and work with you.

Please understand that the rooms have to be serviced and the house cleaned ready for the next days arrivals.

On the day of your departure we require the rooms to be vacated by 10am.
