Allt Gynack Guest House is a family owned private guest house, situated at the West End of Kingussie High Street next to the River Gynack. Set in it's own grounds, it has a residents  private car park at the rear, with secure parking for motorbikes and bicycles.

We are situated in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland just 10 miles south of Aviemore in the picturesque Royal Burgh of Kingussie. We are open all year round enabling you to take advantage of the huge array of activities from golfing and fishing in the summer to skiing in the winter, walking, mountain biking, motorcycling and bird watching all year round on the nearby nature reserves. Beautiful part of the country for photography. Take the funicular railway to the top of  Cairngorm and enjoy a meal in the highest restaurant in the UK—see our Related Links page for details of how to book.

 

Due to the number of excellent restaurants / eating establishments within easy reach of Allt Gynack we do not provide evening meals. However we will be happy to advise you on local availability and have sample menus for your perusal. Or you can bring in a take-away evening meal and use our dining room. We are not licensed but please feel free to bring in your own wine and we will provide the glasses!

 

Owing to its central location, Kingussie makes an excellent base for touring further a-field - north to Inverness and the Moray Firth, south to Perthshire, east to the castles of Deeside or westwards towards Fort William and Oban.

 

 

Business Travellers: Allt Gynack is an ideal stop over for Business Customers. We have Single en-suites, with desks, for those of you who need a break from the A9 road and have ‘paper-work’ to catch up on!

Pets welcome, at no charge,  in designated bedrooms only. Our two dogs tell us they love the walks in the vicinity of the guest house.

 

 

Skiing:  during the Season we can arrange ski & snow board hire, ski suits, instruction etc for Cairngorm on your behalf.
